Following a series of meetings with local residents, officials from Town of Warren, Village of Roberts, WI Dept. of Natural Resources, Friends of Twin Lakes developed a Resolution of Support that is hopes to have passed by the various governing entities who all have in interest in the issues surrounding water quantity and quality of Twin Lakes.
The resolution was presented to the Town of Warren for discussion and approval at the Town Board meeting on August 22, 2017. After some brief discussion that resulted in the altering some of the language in the resolution, the Town Board unanimously approved the resolution. This will be an important first step in raising awareness and obtaining cooperation from other local, County, and State agencies in a effort to address the issues.
